Vol. 227 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Medical Officer.

67.

asked the Minister for Health if and when it is proposed to appoint a medical officer, either temporary or otherwise, to Ballintra, County Donegal.

Ballintra dispensary district has been served by the dispensary doctor of an adjoining district for a number of years. The health authority would make a separate temporary appointment of a doctor who would live in the district if a suitable applicant for the post were available. Efforts to make such an appointment, following advertisement, have been unsuccessful. It is understood that the health authority is considering a further advertisement.
