Vol. 228 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Aglish (Waterford) School.

41.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the extremely bad condition of Aglish national school, County Waterford; and if he will accede to the unanimous wishes of the parents, reverend manager and all concerned with the education of the children, that a pre-fabricated school be erected without delay rather than transport the children concerned to another school.

The matter of the accommodation to be provided for the children attending this school is still under consideration. When a final decision falls to be made, all the relevant factors will be taken into account.

Will the Minister indicate how long a decision is likely to take?

I am afraid I could not give any indication of how long.
