asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received a proposal from Kerry County Council to provide a piped water supply from Reen Cross, Kenmare to Templenoe Church; and if so, what is the present position regarding the proposal.

Preliminary proposals for Templenoe water supply scheme which includes an extension from Reen Cross to Templenoe, are at present under consideration in my Department.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received an application from Kerry County Council for sanction to the raising of a loan for the provision of group water supply schemes in the county; and, if so, what is the present position.

The loan application referred to has been the subject of correspondence with Kerry County Council and is still under examination in my Department.
