asked the Minister for Local Government the date on which proposals for the Bride Valley water scheme, County Cork were received in his Department; and when he expects work will commence on this scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position regarding the Bridge Valley regional water scheme County Cork.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 18 and 19 together.

Tenders for the Bride Valley regional water supply scheme were received in my Department on 7th February, 1966 and are still under consideration. I am not in a position to say when a decision thereon is likely to issue.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has sanctioned the water scheme for the Killacrohan-Scarteen district, Ballyclough, Mallow, County Cork; and, if not, when he hopes to be in a position to do so.

Tender and loan proposals for this scheme are under consideration in my Department. I am not in a position to say when a decision thereon is likely to issue.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position regarding Rylane water scheme, County Cork.

I have approved Cork County Council's proposals for this scheme.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any plans by Cork County Council for a sewerage scheme at Glantane, Mallow, County Cork.

No proposals have been submitted to my Department for a sewerage scheme at Glantane. I understand, however, that Cork County Council are at present preparing preliminary proposals for a scheme to serve the area.
