Vol. 229 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sligo Postal Deliveries.

5.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that it takes two days to deliver a letter in Sligo which is posted in a subpost office in County Donegal; and if he will arrange new methods to hasten delivery.

Correspondence posted in time for the night mail collection at sub-post offices in County Donegal, other than those on islands, is due to be delivered in the Sligo town area on the second delivery on the working day following that of posting. If the Deputy is aware of any case or cases where this standard of service has not been given, I would be glad to have particulars.
