Vol. 230 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Burtonport (Donegal) Telephone Delays.

11.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the damage done to the lobster and salmon fishing trade in West Donegal owing to the delay in telephone communications between Burtonport and the Continent; and, if so, if he will endeavour to expedite such calls.

Inquiries are being made with a view to improving the position. I should like to make it clear, however, that ordinarily the delays referred to arise outside this Administration.
