Business of Dáil.

I move:

(i) That the proceedings on the motion regarding Ireland's application for membership of the European Economic Community and the amendments thereto if not previously brought to a conclusion shall be brought to a conclusion at 10.30 p.m. by putting from the Chair forthwith and successively the Questions necessary to bring them to a conclusion; and

(ii) That Members as indicated hereunder shall be called on by the Chair to speak in the Debate not later than the time specified:—

(a) 8.15 p.m., a Member nominated by the Labour Party,

(b) 9 p.m., a Member nominated by Fine Gael, and

(c) 9.45 p.m., a Member of the Government.

With your approval, Sir, I wish to make a change in sub-paragraph (ii), so that it will read: (a) at 8.15 p.m. a Member nominated by the Leader of Fine Gael; (b) at 9 p.m. a Member nominated by the Labour Party; and (c) at 9.45 p.m. a Member of the Government.
