asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that when Carragarry national school, County Sligo was closed by his Department the children from this school were transferred to Corballa national school where there are no water or sewerage facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The transfer of the pupils from Carragarry national school to Corballa national school was made in the educational interest of the pupils concerned and was an interim measure pending the erection of a new school at Corballa.
