asked the Minister for Lands what steps have been taken with regard to the acquisition by the Land Commission of the Lissiniskey Estate, County Tipperary.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to acquire the Lissiniskey Estate, Nenagh, County Tipperary for division amongst the smallholders of that area.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 30 and 31 together.

The Land Commission have recently carried out a detailed inspection of this 150 acre property with a view to determining whether compulsory acquisition proceedings should be instituted. The report furnished is being studied and it is expected that there will be an early decision in the matter.
