Vol. 231 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Emigrant Welfare Services.

6.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if it is proposed to establish an emigrant welfare service in many centres in Britain; if so, in what centres and the nature of the service; if not, if he favours setting up such a service to assist Irish centres and associations of Irish emigrants; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I refer the Deputy to my statements on the matter in reply to the debates on the Estimates for the Department of External Affairs on the 24th February, 1965, and the 9th February, 1967.
