Vol. 231 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment of Disabled Workers.

39.

asked the Minister for Labour if he will ensure that the Board for the Employment of the Blind take all necessary steps to safeguard conditions of employment of disabled workers and to avoid any dispute in the matter with their employees.

I take it the Deputy has in mind a current dispute affecting one of the employees of the Board for the Employment of the Blind. As this dispute is being discussed to-day at meetings arranged by the Labour Court's conciliation service, I do not think it would be appropriate for me to comment.
