Ní gnách an mioneolas atá á lorg ag an Teachta a thabhairt ach tig liom a rá go bhfuil na rátaí pá chomh maith ar a laghad le rátaí i monarchana eile dá leithéid. I understand that 20 men and 23 women are employed by Gaeltarra Éireann at Spiddal. It is not the practice to give the details sought by the Deputy but I may say that the wage rates compare favourably with rates in other factories of a similar kind. It is a source of satisfaction to me that production and earnings in the factory are at present better than ever.
