I presume the Deputy is referring to wages grade pensioners who retired before 1st April, 1963, and who were not included in the recommendation of the Commission on CIE Pensions and Sickness Benefit Payments set up in June, 1963.
In accordance with my statement in Dáil Éireann on 16th November last the position of these pensioners is being re-examined. I intend to make a further statement at the earliest possible date.
