It is intended to build two houses for married gardaí at Salthill. I am satisfied, however, that the building of new Garda stations and the carrying out of improvements and repairs to existing stations must, in the allocation of available funds, be given precedence over the erection of houses at Salthill and other centres.
I am not in a position to say when work on the houses at Salthill is likely to commence.
