(a) The total net receipts of taxation (Customs¹, Excise, Death Duties, Stamp Duties, Income Tax, Sur-tax, Corporation Profits Tax, Turnover Tax² and Wholesale Tax³) during the 10 year period 1957-58—1966-67 was as follows:
