asked the Minister for Local Government if he will list all proposals for house-building projects received in his Department in the past year from all local authorities in South Tipperary and County Waterford; and if he will issue a list of such schemes which have been already sanctioned.

During the past year the following proposals for the acceptance of tenders for housing schemes in South Tipperary and County Waterford were submitted to my Department and approved by me: Tipperary (South) County Council: 16 houses at Monroe East, Ardfinnan. Clonmel Corporation: 23 houses at College Street (East Side). Carrick-on-Suir Urban District Council: 4 houses at Bohermuire; 4 houses at Ascal Uí Mhathúna. Tipperary Urban District Council: 28 houses at Emly Road. Waterford County Council: 12 houses at Crobally Upper, Tramore; 12 houses at Dunmore East. Waterford Corporation: 48 houses at Lisduggan. Dungarvan Urban District Council: 32 houses at Abbeyside. In addition, proposals for the acceptance of tenders for 29 rural cottages were received in my Department and approved by me. With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate, with the Official Report, a statement showing the location of these cottages.
The following proposals for the acceptance of tenders have been submitted more recently to my Department and are at present under examination: Tipperary (South) County Council: 8 houses at Fethard; 6 houses at Clogheen. Waterford County Council: 4 cottages at Ballinroad. Waterford Corporation: 67 further houses at Lisduggan, Dungarvan Urban District Council: 20 Old people's houses at Scrammien's Lane.
Following is the statement giving the locations of rural cottages for which proposals for the acceptance of tenders were received in the Department from Tipperary (South) and Waterford County Councils and were approved by the Minister in the year 1967-68:
