Vol. 235 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Radioactivity in Irish Sea.

46.

asked the Minister for Health whether Britain has increased above 10,000 curies monthly the amount of radioactive material being pumped into the Irish sea; and, if so, the number of curies per month now being pumped into the sea.

The answer to the first part of the Deputy's question is "No". The second part of his question does not, therefore, arise.

The figure is still 10,000 curies per month?

It does not come near that at all.

It took a long time to squeeze that information out of the Minister.
