As I indicated in reply to a question by Deputy S. Barrett on 6th June, 1968, the position of staff affected by the transfer of management of Shannon Airport to Aer Rianta will be safeguarded. It is hoped therefore to avoid any consequential unemployment or compulsory transfer of staff.
