Vol. 235 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mentally Handicapped Children.

29.

asked the Minister for Education if he will arrange with the Office of Public Works to have a room in the Model School, Clonmel, County Tipperary, made available for mentally handicapped children, so that the local committee for mentally handicapped children can look after them there and give some relief to their parents.

I am having inquiries made as to the feasibility of having a room in the Model School building made available for brief periods each week as a crèche for mentally handicapped children.
