Vol. 235 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee County Hospital.

45.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that Kerry County Council have purchased a site for the proposed new county hospital to be erected at Tralee; and if he will now state the cause of delay in giving the local authority the necessary approval.

On 29th June, 1967, I approved a proposal of Kerry County Council to purchase a site for the new county hospital at Tralee. A schedule of accommodation has been submitted by the health authority but I shall have to consider the planning of this hospital in the light of recommendations by the Consultative Council on the General Hospital Services on the hospital system generally.
