Holders of the Service, 1917-1921, Medal who apply for benefits under the schemes for free travel, electricity and free television or radio licences are asked to state the reference number of their medal award, because it will enable the application form to be associated directly with the departmental file and will facilitate the investigation of the applicant's entitlement to the benefit.
