asked the Minister for Labour the number of hotels that come within the ambit of the Hotels Joint Labour Committee.

The figure is of the order of 650.

31.

asked the Minister for Labour if he will take steps to ensure that the printed notice outlining the provisions of the Hotels Joint Labour Committee in respect of wages and working conditions will be prominently displayed in the staff quarters and offices of each hotel.

The inspectors of my Department ensure, during the course of their visits of inspection to premises where workers come within the scope of the Employment Regulation Order (Hotels Joint Labour Committee), 1967, that the prescribed notice of the Order is properly posted.

asked the Minister for Labour the number of inspectors available for the enforcement of the provisions of the Hotels Joint Labour Committee.

Due to temporary vacancies, the number of inspectors at present available is three but arrangements are in train to fill the vacancies.
