Vol. 236 No. 6

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - IDA Small Industries Division.

54.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what progress is being made by the small industries division of the Industrial Development Authority.

56.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is intended to apply the small industries programme to the Dublin area.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose taking Questions Nos. 54 and 56 together.

Satisfactory progress is being made by the Small Industries Division of the Industrial Development Authority in the administration of the Small Industries Programme. While no final decision has been taken as regards its extension, it is hoped, as a result of a review currently in hands of the experience gained in its operation on a pilot basis, to be able to extend the scheme to the whole country eventually, including Dublin.
