The total amount due to the Exchequer at 31st March, 1968, from loans to (a) all semi-State bodies was £118.14 million and (b) other bodies was £188.75 million.
In addition the Exchequer had invested £59.66 million by way of share capital in semi-State bodies, and Exchequer subscriptions to the IMF and other international bodies amounted to £11.17 million.
