asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have yet allocated £16,125 to the Kerry County Council for Madam's Height bridge, Killarney; the present position regarding this bridge; and when work is expected to start.

A grant of £16,125 has been made available to the Kerry County Council by my Department towards the cost of this proposal. Design and drawings for the new bridge have been approved and, so far as my Department is concerned, the council are free to proceed with the work.
