asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission will divide the Foley Estate, Clonacusha, Killimor, County Galway.

This 44-acre holding did not come into the possession of the Land Commission until last November. Pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground it is not possible to forecast just now when a scheme of division can be planned.


asked the Minister for Lands when the Bridget Commins Estate, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, County Galway, will be divided.

The Land Commission recently decided to proceed for compulsory acquisition of this 23-acre property. The owner has been notified accordingly and the relevant statutory notices will be published as soon as possible.


asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the Byron Estate, Attymon, County Galway.

This 21-acre holding was divided a few days ago.
