Vol. 241 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cahir (Tipperary) Water Supply.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will make a statement on the present supply of water to Cahir town, County Tipperary.

I have approved contract documents for the Cahir water supply scheme. A tender for stage I of the work was sanctioned by me on the 5th May last.

Has any opposition been met by the Minister with regard to the utilisation of the Ballylooby group water scheme to supplement Cahir?

I have not that information at present. It is a separate question. Perhaps the Deputy would put down a question about it next week?
