The commissioner of the Garda Síochána is authorised by official regulations to provide mobile shelters and to hire caravans for this purpose if necessary. Shelters have been already provided at some centres; at other places, facilities are made available by the property owners.
I may add that security duty at the kind of places referred to by the Deputy has in many instances been taken over by the Army from the Garda Síochána.
