asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will give a breakdown of the subsidy paid by his Department to the creamery milk suppliers.

The expected expenditure of some £31 million on milk price support in the current financial year comprises the following:

Milk Price Allowance

£17½m.

Quality Allowance

£3m.

Payments to Bord Bainne towards support of dairy products exports

£10½m.

Total

£31m.
