I have had the question of the establishment of a system of registration of persons dependent on drugs under active consideration and I hope that such a system will be introduced in the near future.
It is intended that consultations with the medical interests concerned will be arranged at an early date, so that an agreed procedure can be worked out.
Would the Minister say if it would be desirable to have such a register?
I said so on the Health Bill and it is not necessary to repeat it.
