Mr. Wyse

asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider amending the present Income Tax Acts whereby a further allowance may be given to a person in respect of the cost of employing home help to care for a dependent relative.

The Deputy will appreciate that I cannot indicate in advance what proposals the next Budget statement may or may not contain.
