The itinerant site for eight families provided by Galway County Council at Loughrea is in use since the beginning of last month. Each family has a two-roomed dwelling with a solid fuel cooker in the livingroom together with hard standing for a caravan and a scrap compound adjoining. The site also includes a central toilet block and wash-room, access road and fenced-off animal compound.
