asked the Minister for Finance the amount of money collected in turnover tax since its introduction.

The total net receipt from turnover tax from 1st November, 1963, to 30th November, 1969, was £93,896,000 approximately.

As turnover tax chargeable in respect of transactions in any month is normally payable in the following month, the figures given represent the approximate amounts paid in respect of transactions up to 31st October, 1969, inclusive.

And he insists on collecting 4s 2d for Christmas cards.
