Vol. 244 No. 8

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Health Authority Employee.

7.

Dr. Browne, Mr. M. O'Leary

andDr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Health if he will inquire into the case of a person (name supplied) employed by Dublin Health Authority who claims that his pay has not been supplemented by the authority since his recall to the reserve.

I have made inquiries into this case from the local authority concerned. I understand that the person concerned will be allowed the balance of his remuneration as a local authority officer in excess of his Army pay and that payment of this balance for the period of his Army service to date will soon be made to him.
