Vol. 244 No. 8

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Offaly Farm.

56.

asked the Minister for Lands the position in so far as the Land Commission are concerned in regard to the McNally estate, Clonin, Rhode, County Offaly; if it is proposed to divide this farm into allotments of 10 acres each; if so, when this development will take place; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Possession of this 249 acre property has passed to the Land Commission. Composite resale proposals are envisaged for this and a nearby property of 90 acres. Pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground, it is not possible to forecast just now when division can take place or what form the allocation plans will take.
