Vol. 245 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Mental Hospital.

2.

asked the Minister for Health when the Cork Health Authority will have the current overcrowding of St. Kevin's male unit of Our Lady's Mental Hospital, Cork, reduced.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to two questions raised by Deputy Burke on 19th March in this matter. I understand that the special committee of the authority which I referred to in that reply has not yet issued its report but that in the meantime arrangements are being made to transfer 60 patients from St. Kevin's unit.
