I am informed by Bord Fáilte that the only locations in which festivals or promotions use the Tóstal title are Cork city and Drumshanbo.
I should add, however, that many of the festivals and special events which were initiated in connection with An Tóstal have continued and developed over the years and remain a strong attraction for visitors and an effective means of extending the holiday season.
