asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of (1) Garda stations and (2) Garda sub-stations in County Waterford (a) the number of them, (b) the location of each, (c) the number of officers and gardaí in each, (d) the number equipped with two-way radio sets and (e) the number of vehicles at the disposal of each as at June, 1960, and June, 1969.

It would not be in the public interest to disclose the exact disposition of radio equipment and vehicles as requested by the Deputy. The total number of two-way radio sets in use in County Waterford is 11. The total number of vehicles in use in June, 1960, was four and the total in use in June, 1969, was ten and the total numbers of personnel for these dates were 137 and 145.
The balance of the information sought is in the form of a tabular statement, which, again with your permission, Sir, I propose to have circulated with the Official Report.
