Third Report of Committee of Selection.

The Committee of Selection reports that it has discharged Deputy Des O'Malley (Minister for Justice) from the Committee on Procedure and Privileges and has appointed Deputy David Andrews (Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach) in substitution for him; that it has discharged Deputy Michael Kitt (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Gaeltacht) from the Joint Library Committee and has appointed Deputy Seán Sherwin in his place; that it has discharged Deputy Michael O'Kennedy (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Education) from the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills and has appointed Deputy Seán Brosnan in his place; that it has appointed Deputy Richie Ryan to serve on the Joint Committee on Standing Orders (Private Business) to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Deputy Gerard Sweetman; that on the Committee of Public Accounts on the Appropriation Accounts for the year ended 31st March, 1969 it has appointed Deputy Sylvester Barrett to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Deputy Patrick J. Lenihan and has discharged Deputy David Andrews (Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach) and appointed Deputy Ray McSharry in his place and that it has discharged Deputy Jackie Fahey (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries) from the Joint Restaurant Committee and has appointed Deputy Noel Davern in his place.
