I do not want to make a contribution, but on Tuesday afternoon Deputy Stephen Coughlan asked the Taoiseach when the Vocational Education Bill would be taken. The Taoiseach in reply said the third week in August. Was the Taoiseach trying to be funny or was he misleading Deputy Coughlan?

I do not think he was sure at that stage when the House would adjourn.
Deputy Coughlan has a certain interest in the Bill.
I think his interest is well protected.
Maybe he wanted to say something. However, I thought I would get in on the record of the House.
