asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will amend the current free travel provision for all aged pensioners to enable their wives to travel with them particularly when such pensioners are incapacitated.

Wives of old age and blind pensioners who are not themselves 70 years of age have been entitled to free travel facilities. When accompanying the pensioner, since 20th July last.
