31.

asked the Minister for Education when work will start on the new school at Tankerstown, Bansha, County Tipperary; and if he will detail the facilities to be provided in the school.

Arrangements for the erection of a new school at Tankerstown, Bansha, County Tipperary, in which the present Tankerstown and Ardane National Schools will be amalgamated, are almost completed. It is expected that the building of the school will commence in the early months of the next calendar year.

The accommodation in the new building will consist of four standard classrooms and a general purposes room with kitchenette adjoining. Facilities will be provided for the preparation of a light meal for the pupils.
