Vol. 251 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Credit for Insurance Stamps.

21.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether all insurance stamps have been credited to the former employees of a firm (name supplied), since gone into liquidation.

Moneys paid on account by the company in question immediately before it went into liquidation were allocated on a proportionate basis in respect of contributions due for the employees concerned, but no credited contributions have yet been allowed in lieu of unpaid contributions in the case of any employees of this firm. In this connection may I refer the Deputy to my reply of 28th January, 1971, to a question by Deputy Keating concerning the failure of employers to stamp insurance cards.
