Vol. 251 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Liffey Salmon Catches.

36.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the number of salmon landed (a) by netmen and (b) by rod on the lower reaches of the river Liffey in the past three fishing seasons.

Separate figures for salmon catches in the lower reaches of the river Liffey are not available.

As to the catches on the entire river I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to supply this information in the form of a tabular statement and to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is the statement of number of salmon caught:—
