asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have any plans for the acquisition of the Hussey and Greene Estates, Pollanaroo, Ballinlough, County Roscommon.

Proceedings are in progress for compulsory acquisition of the 28-acre holding of Hussey, formerly Greene, but possession has not yet passed to the Land Commission. Efforts are at present being made to arrange for possession at the earliest possible date.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission intend to divide the Haverty Estate, Meelickbeg, Mahanagh, Lavally, Tuam, County Galway.

Composite proposals have now been drafted for this 19-acre holding and other lands acquired in the locality—aggregating some 100 acres. These proposals are as yet preliminary but are under active consideration.
