The cost plan for stage I of the new extension has now been approved. Examination of the layout drawings of the special subject rooms and of the working drawings will be completed shortly. My Department will then be in a position to authorise the vocational education committee to proceed with the preparation of contract documents subject to whatever amendments to drawings may be necessary.
