Vol. 251 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin City Traffic.

52.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, with a view to regulating the flow of traffic in and out of city areas, particularly Dublin, he will consider instituting a system whereby roads are divided by a continuous white line, each side of the road changing from double lane traffic to single lane traffic at regular intervals.

I have noted the Deputy's suggestion and I am having it examined in conjunction with other measures which might help local authorities in controlling traffic movement.
