Vol. 252 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Piers.

28.

andMr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Finance if he will indicate his proposals for the improvement of piers and slipways in County Waterford in the coming financial year, with particular reference to the dock at Cheekpoint.

It is hoped that the development of Dunmore East Harbour as a fishery harbour centre will be completed during the coming financial year. Apart from this, no proposals for the improvement of piers or slipways in County Waterford have been received in the Office of Public Works. That office does not, of course, initiate proposals of this nature.
