Vol. 252 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Waterford Health Authority Pensioner.

55.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a former employee of the Waterford Health Authority (details supplied) has not been allowed an increase in his pension for some time past; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The calculation and payment of a pension increase in any individual case is a matter for the former employing local authority of the pensioner concerned, subject to the right of the pensioner to appeal to me if he is aggrieved by the local authority decision. No appeal has been submitted to me in the case in question and accordingly I am unable to make a statement in the matter.
