Vol. 252 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estates.

26.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the Doherty (Robinson) estate, Ballydrehid, Cahir, County Tipperary.

Proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of 66 acres of the Robinson estate have reached the stage where the question of price remains to be settled.

27.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Mahoney estate, Laffana, Clonoulty, Gooldscross, Cashel, County Tipperary will be divided.

Resale plans for this 123 acre property have been formulated and it is hoped that allocation will be effected this season.

Would the Minister ensure that local land hunger is satisfied before any migration takes place in these cases?

I do not know anything more about it than the information I have already given to the Deputy.

Will Deputy Davern vote for it in the division tonight and ensure that the Government will do that?
